The piano solo before Two Djinn is the that songs starts. It is one of my very favorite original songs from Ratdog. Jeff Chimenti is as good a keys player as anyone on the planet.....Oh yeah, this is a great show. Its perfect really.....

This was my first chance to see the fabled "Grateful Dead weather" in person. I will never forget the sight of rain and wind swirling under the awning to the edge and onto the stage, Bobby and the band getting drenched, no doubt scared out of their wits that they'd be electrocuted at any moment. It created this feedback loop where the weather got wilder, the band played harder, the crowd went crazier, on and on, crescendoing to a climax about a minute before the end of the track. I'll never forget that show.

It rained buckets if i remember correctly, had a blast for a few shows with ratdog opening for phil and bobby playing with phil after ratdog

Stayed in Va.Bch with old friends,who gave me a ticket,place to stay,food,plenty of breh,let me park my car for a while and ride with them,and they had a nice 4 foot mini ramp in the backyard!
The best show of all the Phil summer shows.
Not the best lot,wheather,State,crowd,etc.
But the all star lineup was as good as it could get in '02,except for the upcoming Alpine shows.
No seats in the pavillion.
Nice and small.
Mini size lawn with grass and no bad slopes.
The Dead always rock Virginia.
This time it took only 3 members.
